Tyronn Lue opened up about his decision to keep Paul George out in the final minutes of the game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Lue said he was forced to do so, because George was on minutes restriction.

“The game kinda got out of hand and we had to bring him back to get the game close. He played well, he got us back in it. Tough decision, but biggest thing is that he’s healthy and biggest thing is player’s health,” Lue told reporters, via Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints.

George spent 33 minutes on the floor and had 34 points (12/19 shooting), six rebounds and seven assists. The Clippers, though, lost the game 112-108.
