The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Golden State Warriors in a tight contest thanks to a game-winner by Terry Rozier. Steph Curry was out for the Dubs, yet they were able to compete with their opponents. Head coach Steve Kerr was proud of how his players competed, at the same time saying they need to get better.

“Guys played their asses off. I love coaching this team. I enjoy working with them. They compete. But we’ve gotta get better. We’ve gotta learn how to close games. Our execution has to improve,” Kerr said postgame per Anthony Slater.

The loss keeps the Warriors in eighth place in the Western Conference with 16 wins and 15 losses. Meanwhile, the Hornets are seventh in the East with a 14-15 record.
