The Golden State Warriors saw their superstar guard Stephen Curry be unable to play against the Charlotte Hornets.

Curry was forced to leave the bench and go to the locker room prior to tip-off of Saturday’s game.

Per the Warriors, though, Curry was just not feeling well and his illness was not Covid-related.

“According to a league source, Curry’s absence Saturday was not coronavirus related. He simply was not feeling well enough to play. It’s the first time this season Curry has missed a game,” Connor Letourneau of the San Fransisco Chronicle reports.

“He’s not in health and safety protocols. It’s obviously something that was concerning, but there were no protocols in places,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said about Stephen Curry.
