Olympiacos has announced the signing of Greek-American center, Kostas Koufos, for the remainder of the season. The 32-year old center has been a free agent since last May and he has previously played for CSKA Moscow. After spending his entire career playing in the NBA, Koufos will play his second season in the Euroleague after spending the 2019/20 season in Moscow.
Koufos is a member of the Greek National team but this will be the first time in his career playing for a Greek club. Olympiacos has pursued signing Koufos back in 2008 but the player decided to continue his career in the NBA.
