Anthony Edwards will leave his mark this season with a potential dunk of the year over the Toronto Raptors’ Yuta Watanabe.

However, the rookie is not too excited about the dunk because his team lost the game. Aside from the dunk, Edwards struggled with his shot vs. Toronto as he made 3 out of 14 of his field goals and missed all 7 of his three-pointers.

“I’d be talking about it highly right now if we would’ve won. Due to the fact that we lost, it’s nothing to be excited about. It was a great dunk, but we lost, so it don’t mean nothing right now,” Edwards said after the game, per Jon Krawczynski.

The Minnesota Timberwolves’ 19-year-old rookie is averaging 14.6 points, 3.7 points and 2.4 assists per game.
