Barcelona is close to finalizing a huge deal bringing NBA superstar, Pau Gasol, back for the rest of the season, per Mundo Deportivo. After spending 18 years playing in the NBA, Gasol is close to his return to Barcelona after 2001.
The 40-year-old center is now recovering from an injury, but Barcelona is ready to sign him and bring one of the best Spanish players back on the team. In case the deal is done, Barcelona will strengthen their frontline ahead of the Euroleague playoffs.
With his return to Barcelona, Pau Gasol will reunite with Nikola Mirotic after spending some time in Milwaukee and the Chicago Bulls, and he will play under the guidance of Saras Jasikevicius, with whom he has kept in contact.
