The Greek-American center is close to signing a deal with Olympiacos until the end of the season, per Gazzetta.gr. Olympiacos has been looking to add a center that could help Ellis and Martin and it seems that the club is finalising a deal with Kostas Koufos.
The 32-year-old big man last played for CSKA Moscow in the Euroleague and in case he signs with Olympiacos, this will be his first time playing for a Greek club even though he has played for the Greek National Team.
Koufos has been a free agent since last May and in 17 Euroleague matches played with CSKA Moscow last season, he averaged 3.7 points and 2.8 rebounds.
