The Brooklyn Nets’ head coach Steve Nash was elated, after his team came back from a 24-point deficit to win the game against the Phoenix Suns.

That was the biggest ever deficit the Nets covered in the history of the franchise and Nash could not be any happier as the team’s head coach.

“All vibes in there right now; all vibes,” Nash said. “The guys are rightfully excited. It’s a great morale booster, especially missing Kevin and Ky and finding a way to make up for a 24-point deficit. We showed a lot of character, a lot of heart, and as a coaching staff, that just makes you proud.”

The Nets played without Durant, who is recovering for a mild injury, and Kyrie Irving, who sidelined Tuesday due to back tightness.

However, James Harden had an MVP-type of performance scoring 38 points to help his shorthanded team get past the red-hot Suns. Harden also had 11 assists and seven rebounds.

Brooklyn faces the Lakers on Thursday in a matchup between two of the top teams in the NBA this season.
