AEK gets stronger every day, and today (2/12) acquired Giannis Athinaiou who played for Eskisahir in Turkey. The Greek guard started his professional career from Ilissiakos in 2006, played for Panionios two times (2009-11 and 2012-13). He then moved to Aris which was his last Greek team until now, making his way to Armani Milan for almost half a year.

This summer he was called to be part of the Greek National Team preparation for the World Cup. Dragan Sakota chose to add some experience to his roster in a position where despite English’s great form, a player like Athinaiou is needed
