Nets’ Kevin Durant to miss at least two games with a hamstring strain

The Brooklyn Nets will not have Kevin Durant available for at least the next two games due to a mild hamstring issue, the team announced earlier.

Durant is expected to be evaluated in the next few days with the Nets hoping for some good news. Durant will miss games against Sacramento and Phoenix.

The Nets are expected to increase Jeff Green’s usage in the wing, while Bruce Brown and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot will see their minutes being increased.

Durant missed a couple of games last week due to the NBA’s health and safety protocol, after a person near him tested positive for coronavirus.

The Nets will play against the Kings and the Suns in back-to-back nights on Monday and Tuesday.
