Zach LaVine did not have any idea that he and his teammate Coby White went off for a historic shooting night in the Bulls’ win over the New Orleans Pelicans Wednesday.

LaVine and White became the first teammates in the history of the league to nail eight three-pointers in one game. The Bulls defeated New Orleans by making a franchise-record 25 threes.

After the game, Zach LaVine was surprised by the feat that allowed Chicago to return to its winning ways, after losing to the Washington Wizards.

LaVine made nine three-pointers in his way to a season-high 46-point performance. He also had four assists and seven rebounds.

White, who was also impressive, had 30 points, along with seven assists, to complete a tremendous night for the Chicago Bulls’ backcourt duo.

The Bulls got back to the winning column and improved to 10-14 record to put an end to the Pelicans’ four-game winning streak.
