Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has offered no resistance following the NBA’s proclamation stating all teams should play the national anthem prior to games and has assured that his team will resume from tonight.

The Mavs haven’t played the anthem at home all season, in what appears to be Cuban’s way of avoiding the kneeling practice brought on by the issues pertaining to racial and social injustice in the United States.

Cuban had ordered that his team refrain from playing the anthem before games at the American Airlines Center but, with the NBA catching wind this week, has been informed that all teams should continue to honor the tradition.

You could see his reaction below.

The 11-14 Mavericks will host the Atlanta Hawks (11-12) on Wednesday night.
