The Miami Heat beat the New York Knicks 109-103 at Madison Square Garden on Sunday and tonight beat them once again, 98-96, this time at home.

The Heat struggled with Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro out of the lineup but both are healthy now and Miami has won three consecutive games. Their record is now 10-14. Herro hit a 3-pointer in the final minute that put the Heat in front for good.

Miami got two key stops on defense with the game on the line, as Julius Randle missed a potential go-ahead shot with 10 seconds remaining and R.J. Barrett missed a contested layup that would’ve tied the game as time expired.

Derrick Rose scored 14 points in his return to the Knicks, as he reunited with head coach Tom Thibodeau. New York is now 11-15 and will look to get back on track against the Wizards on Friday. The Heat will look to extend their winning streak against the Rockets on Thursday.
