Kendrick Perkins reacted to the Los Angeles Lakers surviving an overtime thriller over the Oklahoma City Thunder (112-119).
Perkins said the Lakers (19-6) are by far the ‘best team’ in the NBA at the moment.
“The Lakers have the BEST team in the league and it ain’t even close. When you have a veteran like Wes Matthews who have been getting DNPs and come in off the bench tonight and produce on both ends of the floor shows us all how deep this Lakers team really is!!! Carry on,” Perkins tweeted.
Thanks to their win over the Thunder, the Lakers extended their winning streak to five games, being 0.5 games behind top-seeded Utah Jazz.
