Real Madrid are still the team to beat in the Liga Endesa and Joventut Badalona have claimed another Euroleague victim in this past week’s round of games.

Real Madrid are now 8-0 after they dispatched Seville 81-72 in an entertaining battle that was won in the last few minutes.
Felipe Reyes steered Real Madrid home as he led the scoring with 18 points. Gustavo Ayon added 15 as well, but Real Madrid, without Rudy Fernandez lost Facundo Campazzo to what looks like a knee injury.
Valancia have now lost two straight to fellow Euroleague opposition. Following last week’s loss to Barcelona, they lost at home 75-64 to Unicaja Malaga.
Lithuanian international Mandaugas Kuzminskas continues his superb start to the season as he led Malaga with 18 points, which included him leading from the front in a dominating second quarter showing. Malaga went from being 22-19 down to 39-33 up and they never looked back.
Barcelona were 79-64 winners at Fuenlabrada. Ante Tomic was the only Barca player in double figures as his 23 points handed Barcelona the win.
But Laboral Kutxa’s nightmare start continues as a late surge from Joventut Badalona’s Sergi Vidal ensured an 83-82 win for the Catalan side.
Goron Suton led Badalona with 22.
EUROCUP WATCH
Seville lost to Real Madrid, and it wasn’t much better for Gran Canaria, as they lost 70-60 to Bilbao.
It was a dominant performance from Bilbao, as they raced to a 22-8 lead and never looked back. Marko Todrovic had 17 for the victors.
Zaragoza were able to avoid the hat-trick of Eurocup losses with an 82-72 home win over Estudiantes. The hosts led 23-20 after one, and went further clear in the second as they led 43-29 at the half. From there, the win was never in doubt.
Stevan Jelovac led Zaragoza with 18 points.
ELSEWHERE
UCAM Murcia bounced back from a loss last week to beat Rio Monbus 68-64. Tenerife dominated from the start to thrash Andorra 83-56 as the Andorrans search for their first away win of the season.
And at the foot of the table, Gipuzkoa grabbed an important win as they look to climb up the standings. They beat bottom side Bruixa d’Or 82-75. Jordi Grimau led the victors with 18 points.
