Anthony Davis shared his thoughts on the Los Angeles Lakers surviving a late thriller against the Detroit Pistons in double overtime (129-135).
Davis said the Lakers played at a high level defensively, but the Pistons made it ‘tough’ for the defending champions to earn the win.
“We hold ourselves to a higher standard defensively but they made it tough on us,” Davis told Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet.
David had 30 points on 13/22 shooting in the contest, as the Lakers extended their winning streak to four games and improved to 18-6.
