The Minnesota Timberwolves star guard D’Angelo Russell made the biggest shot of the night to lead his team to an important victory over the pesky Thunder.
He then received praise from his teammate Malik Beasley after the game. Russell re-tweeted Beasley’s comment with an one-word reaction.
Russell took upon himself in the final seconds to help the slumping Timberwolves secure the second win in the last six games. Minnesota remains at the bottom of the Western Conference having a 6-22 record.
The All-Star finished with 21 points, four rebounds and six assists on 7-of-13 shooting from the field and 5-of-8 from long distance on Friday’s game.
