Shaquille O’Neal doesn’t believe Luka Doncic is the superstar the Dallas Mavericks are looking for to win the NBA championship.
O’Neal, a Lakers and NBA legend, noted the Mavs need a player like Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook in order to win the title, not Doncic.
“They need a guy that’s just as good as Luka but a little bit better…like a Bradley Beal or Russell Westbrook,” O’Neal said about Doncic, via NBA Central.
Doncic and the Mavericks are next to the bottom of the Western Conference standings, at 9-14.
