LeBron James had a triple-double of 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Denver Nuggets 114-93. It was the 17th win of the season for the defending NBA champions. In this game, LeBron passed legendary Wilt Chamberlain for the most field goals made.

In his 18th season, at the age of 36, James remains focused on getting better and even more dangerous to the opposing defenses. He considers himself a better player this season than last year’s champion LeBron.

“I’ve never put a ceiling on my ability to get better,” LeBron said after the game. “I’ve always had a grove mindset on how I can get better with my game. I wasn’t too found of the short offseason because I didn’t really get an opportunity to dissect a part of my game where I want to get better at.

“I was the time wisely mostly for my body, mostly for my mind in the short offseason. But also just come back a better player I feel like I’m a better player than I was last year. I feel like I can beat the defense at any facet once I cross halfcourt. It makes our team that much better when I can improve and I feel like I’ve improved my game.”
