Anthony Davis had nothing but good words to say about the superstar of the Denver Nuggets Nikola Jokic.
Davis called Jokic ‘a hell of a player’ and noted it is always fun for him to face great players, like the Serbian center.
“He’s a hell of a player. He’s playing extremely well this season. … It’s always fun going up against a player like that,” Davis said about Jokic, via Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily.
Davis also praised his former teammate Dwight Howard for how well he guarded Jokic in the 2020 Western Conference Finals vs the Nuggets.
Davis and Jokic will face each other on Thursday, when the Lakers (16-6) will battle the Nuggets (12-8).
