Magic’s Aaron Gordon out 4-6 weeks

Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon has a severe left ankle sprain and is expected to miss four-to-six weeks, according to Shams Charania.

Despite the severe sprain, there is no fracture.

Gordon, 25, suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Magic’s loss to the Toronto Raptors on Jan. 31 when he rolled his ankle while bringing the ball up court.

He was seen on crutches after the game.

In 19 games, Gordon is averaging 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists (career-high) per game.

Injuries have hit the Magic hard, as they are now without Gordon, Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac and Al-Farouq Aminu.

Evan Fournier and Chuma Okeke have also missed time due to injuries.

The Magic will now rely even more on Nikola Vucevic, Evan Fournier, Terrence Ross and rookie Cole Anthony.
