The Knicks were defeated by the Clippers, but several players shone among the New York team. Among these is RJ Barrett, who literally impressed Kawhi Leonard, who spoke as follows in the post game as reported by SNY:
“I liked his mentality, he protects the best players and tries to attack them. He accepted the challenge, this is the right way to improve,” said Leonard. “The more he works, the higher he’ll get. I like that he accepted the challenge.”
RJ Barrett’s game was very tough against Leonard. The Knicks player ended the game with 23 points.
