The Philadelphia 76ers found themselves in the hole during the second half of the game against the Indiana Pacers Sunday going down by 20 and then down by 15 in the fourth quarter.

Furkan Korkmaz was crucial in the Sixers’ rally to come back and win the game without Joel Embiid. The Sixers’ forward made some huge shots in the fourth quarter scoring 11 of his 17 points.

“We didn’t start the game real well, but we figured out how to stop them, the zone defense really helped us,” said Korkmaz. “After one point, we came back in the game again, and then we were just playing out there. We were passing, moving, defensively, everybody was helping each other.”

“That was a really big win,” Korkmaz continued. “I’m happy the second made a big jump. The game came back to our hands. Of course, it feels great.”

The Sixers will finish up the mini road-trip on Wednesday vs. the Charlotte Hornets. They remain the leading team in the East with 15 wins and six losses.
