Anthony Davis helped the Los Angeles Lakers escape from TD Garden with a big victory over rivals Boston Celtics (96-95).
Davis had 27 points and 14 rebounds in the contest and explained why the Lakers had extra motivation in the game.
The big man of the Lakers said the defending champions wanted to avoid a third straight road loss. They also wanted to “take revenge” after blowout loss in Boston last season.
“Anthony Davis said Lakers “damn sure” weren’t going to lose a third game in a row and they were motivated by getting blown out in Boston last season,” Matthew Moreno of Lakers Nation reports.
