Magic Johnson took to Twitter to praise Jordan Clarkson’s and Julius Randle’s performances this season. The two former Lakers are enjoying the best year of their careers this season.

Clarkson is an early candidate for the Sixth Man of the Year award playing for the Utah Jazz, who lead the Western Conference having an NBA best 14-4.

The 28-year-old guard averages 14.9 points on 47 percent shooting coming off the bench for Quinn Snyder’s team. On the other hand, Randle could be an Al-Star, according to Johnson.

The dynamic forward is averaging 22.5 points along with 11.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists for the New York Knicks. The Knicks have a great start in the season thanks to Randle, who is leading them to a surprising 8-11 record so far.

Both players were part of the Los Angeles Lakers squad for four seasons since they entered the league in 2014.
