Doc Rivers praised the Los Angeles Lakers for their epic comeback against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Lakers were down by 14 midway through the fourth quarter (86-100), but went on a 13-0 run later on to take the lead (106-105). Eventually, Tobias Harris hit the jumper and the Sixers sealed the deal (106-107).

“They showed up like champions … it’s hard to kill them,” Doc Rivers told reporters, via Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

Rivers and the Sixers handed the Lakers their first road loss of the season. The defending champions now are 10-1 away from Staples Center.
