Daryl Morey says it’s championship or bust for Philadelphia 76ers this season

Morey doesn't want anything less than a title for Philly this year.

Philadelphia 76ers president Daryl Morey reckons the current season will be a failed one should the team not emerge from 2020/21 with a championship.

Morey spoke to Stephen A. Smith on ESPN on Wednesday and relayed his expectations for the team, per NBC Philadelphia’s John Clark. It’s all pretty simple.

The Sixers have two of the NBA’s best talents in Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, with Morey having facilitated the acquisitions of Danny Green and Seth Curry, two of the league’s best long-distance shooters, last year.
