The Indiana Pacers’ fans have to be relieved after hearing the status update of Domantas Sabonis’ knee injury that occurred on Monday’s game vs. the Toronto Raptors.

The center from Lithuania banged his knee with Kyle Lowry during Monday’s matchup and did not return to the game. X-rays on Sabonis revealed no structural damage.

On Tuesday, the Pacers contacted an MRI on Sabonis’ injured knee, which also did not reveal any structural damage — just a bruise, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowoski.

The Pacers’ big is a huge part of the team’s success this season, as he averages career-highs in points (20.9), assists (5.8) and rebounds (12.9).

Sabonis is considered a day-to-day Wojnarowski reports and that means he will not stay out for too long, as the Pacers are fighting to remain close to the top of the Eastern Conference.
