Former NBA player remembered an interesting story from his first year in the league when he was with the Detroit Pistons. It involved then-rookie Amir Johnson and the Pistons veterans.

According to Acker, they tied Johnson to a chair and left him in the middle of the court after a practice as a punishment for trash talking.

“Amir was talking a lot of crap in practice and they were actually really going in on Jason Maxiel. Amir was like ‘They’re not gonna do that to me,'” Acker remembered on the newest episode of 1-ON-1 with Basketball Network.

“He walks in the locker room, and they really tackled his butt, tied him to a chair with glad wrap and rolled him out in the middle of the court, and told everybody ‘If you try to untangle him, this is gonna happen to you as well.”
