The Golden State Warriors added to their winning column on Monday, as they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves with Andrew Wiggins facing his former team.

Wiggins had 23 points, on 10-of-19 shooting, and six rebounds to propel the Warriors to an easy 108-130 win over Minnesota.

Wiggins, who is having a great season so far with Golden State, talked about the differences between the two organizations and how the Warriors’ culture helped him become better.

“It’s different because everything here is organized,” Wiggins said, per Nick Friedel of ESPN. “You know what you’re doing every night, you know what you’re getting yourself into, you know the minutes you’re going to play, you know your rotation.

There was a couple years like that in Minnesota where you know everything. I was with Coach Thibs [Tom Thibodeau]; Thibs was very organized. And Thibs was very clear; he was very straightforward.

That’s one thing they do here: They’re very straightforward. They’re not going to sugarcoat nothing. There’s no trick questions. So, it’s good.”

Wiggins has amped up his game, since he was traded to the Bay Area franchise the last season. The 6-7 forward averages 17.8 points per on a career-high 46.2% from the field.

He is also great in spot-up situations shooting an impressive 40.7% from the three-point range. He’s also registering 5.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game this season,

The Warriors are set to face the Timberwolves again on Wednesday to close out a two-game mini series against Minnesota at Chase Center.
