The Los Angeles Lakers center Marc Gasol was touched deeply by the untimely passing of Kobe Bryant. It is almost exactly one year since the Lakers great died in a helicopter crash, but the Spaniard still cannot talk about the subject.
“I’m not comfortable talking about it. To this day, I cannot really talk about it,” Gasol cut off a reporter who was about to ask him about Kobe.
“He was obviously someone that we looked up to. Sorry. Sorry I could not give you a better answer,” he said when asked about the team breaking huddles with “1-2-3 Mamba”, per Harrison Faigen.
