Lakers’ LeBron James talks on Kobe Bryant’s legacy: “Legends never die”

The one year anniversary of Kobe Bryant’s death is approaching, and many former and current players are taking the chance to talk about his legacy.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar LeBron James shared his thoughts on Bryant’s importance for the players around the league and especially the Lakers’ organization.

James referred to the ways he and his teammates represented Bryant in the best way possible by winning the 2020 NBA championship in the Orlando ‘bubble’.

“I’m able to wear the 2-4 on my finger every night, and the when we play at Staples Center you see that 8 and 24 in the rafters and be able to just live his legacy on,” James said, per Ryan Ward of Lakersdaily.com. “There’s a lot of things that die in the world, but legends never die, and he’s exactly that. So, it’s all about representing him.”

Bryant’s passing impacts NBA the Lakers organization as the future Hall of Famer spent the 20 seasons of his illustrious career with the LA franchise.

His legacy will continue to live on through millions of players and fans from all-around the world.
