Patrick Beverley will miss the second half of the contest between the Thunder and the Clippers due to knee soreness, per Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com.

Beverley hurt his knee during the first half of Sunday’s contest, and he was ruled out for the remainder of the game at halftime.

Reggie Jackson took his place in the second half. Beverley had seven points, four rebounds and three assists in 13 minutes of play versus OKC.

The report does not suggest a major injury for the veteran guard, but the Clippers prefer not to risk it in anyway possible. Ty Lue’s team is on a six-game winning streak and they are hoping to extend it to seven against Oklahoma City.

Beverley averages 8.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest in his last nine games with the Los Angeles Clippers.
