LaVar Ball never ceases to amaze with his takes, as he called out the Charlotte Hornets’ head coach James Borrego for the way he is using his son LaMelo Ball.

Ball claimed that LaMelo should start over the current Hornets’ point guards claiming he is unhappy with his role in Charlotte.

“My thing is he ain’t happy with that, but he ain’t go show that,” LaVar Ball, said in a TMZ Sports interview. “If I train you to be the best and always been starting all your life – here is what they don’t get. My boys are not freakin’ role players! They superstars! Let them do what they do!”

The Hornets’ head coach James Borrego believes Ball coming off the bench is the best solution for both the team and the player. Borrego called out Ball for his turnovers in the Bulls-Hornets postgame presser.

“If you’re turning the ball over five times in 16 minutes, that ain’t gonna cut it for me,” Borrego said. “If you’re doing that on the offensive end, you better be bringing something defensively.”

After losing to Chicago, the Hornets dropped to 6-9. James Borrego’s team is set to play in Orlando on Monday in the first half of back-to-back games vs. the Magic.
