ESPN held a vote among journalists. Each of them had to name the three best NBA stars of the last decade (from 2010 to 2020). Meta.reviews highlight the five outstanding basketball players chosen by the experts.

5. Kawhi Leonard (San Antonio, Toronto, Clippers)

Biggest achievements in a decade: NBA champion (2014, 2019), NBA Finals MVP (2014, 2019), NBA All-Star participant (2016, 2017, 2019, 2020), NBA All-Star MVP (2020), NBA First Team (2016, 2017), NBA Second Team (2019), NBA Defensive Player of the Year (2015, 2016).

Michael Jordan, who rarely praises anyone, said in the summer of 2017 that Kawhi was the league’s best two-way player. That was after a season when Leonard averaged 25.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.

Defense efficiency awards also validate Kawhi’s skill set.

4. James Harden (Oklahoma City, Houston)

Biggest achievements in a decade: NBA MVP (2018), NBA All-Star Game participant (2013-2019), NBA First Team (2014, 2015, 2017-2019), NBA Third Team (2013), NBA 6th best player (2012).

Harden’s talent and impact on the league are undeniable. He and Michael Jordan alone scored at least 2,700 points, 500 rebounds, and 500 assists in one season.

Harden is the fourth player in league history to score over 60 points twice in a single game. Previously, only Chamberlain, Bryant, and Jordan achieved this.

Harden has no equal in the NBA in his ability to earn free throws. But free throws from the line are of great benefit to the team. Year after year, Harden produces some of the brightest attacking seasons that are impressive even in the context of the entire history of the NBA.

3. Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City, Golden State, Brooklyn)

Biggest achievements in a decade: NBA champion (2017, 2018), NBA Finals MVP (2017, 2018), NBA All-Star Game participant (2010-2019), NBA MVP (2014), NBA First Team (2010-2014, 2018), NBA Second Team (2016, 2017, 2019), NBA scoring champion (2010-2012, 2014).

Kevin Durant has won all possible individual awards during his time at the Oklahoma City Thunder (you can bet on the team’s matches at one of the bookmakers, reviews of which can be found on Centreforum.org).

Kevin is by far the best scorer of the decade in the NBA. Durant has excellent technique, dribbling, and jumping ability, he knows how to create attacks from nothing, and makes killer throws.

2. Stephen Curry (Golden State)

Biggest achievements in a decade: NBA champion (2015, 2017, 2018), NBA MVP (2015, 2016), NBA All-Star Game participant (2014-2019), NBA scoring champion (2016), NBA First Team (2015, 2016, 2019), NBA Second Team (2014, 2017), NBA Third Team (2018).

Stephen is the iconic basketball player of the decade. He changed the way he looked at basketball. Curry holds the record for the regular three-point shooting championship (2013, 2015-2016). In the 2015/16 season, he set a new NBA record for the number of three-pointers (402). Curry has already earned himself the status of the best sniper in history, although his career is far from over.

1. LeBron James (Miami, Cleveland, Lakers)

Biggest achievements in a decade: NBA Champion (2012, 2013, 2016, 2020), NBA Finals MVP (2012, 2013, 2016, 2020), NBA MVP (2010, 2012, 2013), NBA All-Star Game participant (2010-2020), NBA First team (2010-2018, 2020), NBA Third Team (2019).

The last 10 years have been the best in the career of LeBron James, who is a regular participant in the All-Star Game. LeBron is already 36 years old, but he shows no signs of regression, which means he will continue to delight fans with his great game.
