With the one-year anniversary of Kobe Bryant’s tragic death coming, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar recalled the first time he faced him in an NBA game. AD shared his first impression of the Lakers great.
He remembered that it was the year when Kobe was playing through a shoulder injury. At one possession, Davis recalled, Bryant made a shot with his left hand despite being right handed.
“I just stared at him down the court and looked at the bench and was amazed that a guy who is right-handed comes in and say, ‘Okay, I’m just going to shoot left-handed,'” Davis said per Ryan Ward.
