Real Madrid reportedly considers Jordan Loyd as potential replacement for Jaycee Carroll

Real Madrid is planning ahead of the next season knowing Jaycee Carroll might retire in summer. Carroll, 38, has been one of the most important parts of Real’s culture.

According to MARCA, a potential candidate to replace Carroll in the next season’s roster could be Crvena Zvezda‘s Jordan Loyd. Loyd is having a great year in Serbia, as he is the leading scorer of the Reds.

The scoring guard signed a one-year deal with the club from Serbia last summer, and he is averaging 18.7 points being the second best scorer in EuroLeague behind CSKA’s Mike James (20.4 ppg.)

Loyd, who spent a season with the Toronto Raptors, before joining Valencia for the 2019/2020, could be set to return to ACB, if he continues to have such impact with Crvena Zvezda.
