The head coach of the Sacramento Kings Luke Walton praised the Los Angeles Clippers as potential championship contenders ahead of the game between the two teams. He also admitted that the defensive goal for the Kings is to keep the Clippers under 120 points.

Even though Sacramento lost 96-115, they did keep their opponents to less than 120 points. “This Clipper team, this is a very elite team. A championship-contending, grown-man All-Star, MVP,” Walton said pre-game per Mirjam Swanson.

The win placed the Clippers at the top of the Western Conference, tying the Lakers’ record of 11-4. Meanwhile, the Kings are close to the bottom as they sit in 13th place with 5 wins and 10 losses.
