The Houston Rockets are expecting John Wall to return soon, after missing the last four games of the team due to knee soreness.

As head coach Stephen Silas stated, Wall could be back in action as soon as next week the promising coach revealed to radio host Matt Thomas of SportsTalk 790 in Houston.

“We actually had a meeting today, trying to figure out what the best way to handle his injury is going to be,” Silas said. “It doesn’t look like he’s going to play tonight, and it doesn’t look like he’s going to play over the weekend. But after the weekend, it looks like he’ll be back.”

Wall is averaging 18.6 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.7 rebounds in 33.9 minutes per game this season, after missing almost two years due to injury.

The five-time All-Star will miss Houston’s next two games against Detroit and Dallas along with Wednesday’s night matchup versus the Suns.

The Rockets now lost 4 out of their last 5 games being on a 4-8 record so far this season.
