Jimmy Butler, Avery Bradley remain out for Heat

The Miami Heat will begin their four-game road trip on Jan. 20 without Jimmy Butler and Avery Bradley due to health and safety protocols.

The two players did not travel with the team for their next two games in Tampa against the Toronto Raptors, according to Ira Winderman of The South Florida Sun Sentinel.

It’s unclear if they will join the team and play the final two games of the road trip on Jan. 23 and Jan. 25.

Butler and Bradley last played in the Heat’s victory over the Washington Wizards on Jan. 9 and the team has gone 1-3 since then.
