The Toronto Raptors announced that they have waived center Alex Len.

Len signed a one-year deal with the team back in November.

In seven games, Len averaged 2.3 points and 1.6 rebounds per game in only 10.9 minutes per game.

Chris Boucher has had a breakout season and has emerged as the team’s main center, averaging 16.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game in 13 games.

If Len clears waivers, he’ll be an unrestricted free agent on Jan. 21 and he will be eligible to sign with another team that possibly needs some frontcourt depth.
