Steve Kerr opened up about how different player Anthony Davis has become since the 2018 playoff matchup with the Warriors.
Kerr called Davis ‘a fantastic player’, who is ‘grown and matured’ after helping the Lakers win the 2020 NBA title.
“He’s always been a fantastic player. He’s obviously grown and matured … he knows the tricks of the trade. And he’s playing with LeBron now. It’s a different look when you have to face the two of them together,” Kerr said about Davis, via Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet.
Kerr and the Warriors eliminated Davis and the Pelicans 4-1 back in 2018.
