The New Orleans Pelicans will receive a huge boost in their backcourt play with the expected return of Lonzo Ball on Tuesday’s game vs. the Utah Jazz.

Ball spoke to the media after Monday’s practice and said he is ready for his return after missing the Pelicans’ last three games.

“I feel a lot better,” Ball said. “I went through practice for the first time today and felt good. The plan is definitely to play tomorrow.”

The Pelicans will spend the next three games on the road as they are set to play a mini two-game series in Utah and finish the rest of their road trip in Minnesota.

Ball was out during last week with a knee tendinopathy that he has played with since the start of the 2020/21 campaign.

The four-year guard deemed he is feeling much better after treating his knee the last week. Ball is averaging 12.4 points, 4.4 assists and 4.3 rebounds through nine games with the Pelicans.
