HBO Max has unveiled teaser footage with LeBron James on his Tune squad jersey from Space Jam 2. In a video compilation of 2021 movies set to be released by the streaming service, James and his cartoon friends are briefly shown.
A sequel of the previous Space Jam starring Michael Jordan is prepared to released this year with LeBron James in the leading role.
James is getting trapped in a virtual-reality world and he has to lead the Looney Tunes against a basketball team of digitalized NBA superstars.
This will be the first leading role for the Lakers’ superstar. He also starred in the movie ‘Trainwreck’ in a supporting role in the past.
Space Jam 2 is set to be released in theaters and HBO Max on July 16.
