The Los Angeles Lakers came back from a 15-point deficit in their 95-112 win over the Pelicans on Friday night, but LeBron James had a more important topic to address in the post-game presser.

The Lakers’ superstar spoke on Martin Luther King Jr. legacy following the win over New Orleans. James talked about what King’s teachings and legacy mean to him.

“His name and his words and his legacy still lives on. He’s shining his light on us everyday,” the future Hall of Famer said on King’s impact.

MLK day is observed throughout the United States as the day that commemorates Dr. King’s impact on the United States and what he did to bring people of all races together.
