Boston Celtics’ guard Marcus Smart hit 4-of-10 from three on his way to 14 points but missed a cutting slam to cap the 1st quarter, a “rare” miscue for the Celtics guard who showed up to postgame press conference in one of his “many” robes.
Smart also discussed Semi Ojeleye’s strong performance to start the year and looked back on his experience with COVID as other NBA players face similar battles.
The 26-year-old Ojeleye posted 18 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, and an assist across 20 minutes off the bench in Friday’s win over the Magic (124-97).
