Kyle Kuzma says defense was the key for the Lakers’ victory over the Pelicans

Kyle Kuzma explained how the Los Angeles Lakers turned things around and rallied past the New Orleans Pelicans (95-112).

Kuzma said defense was the key that enabled the Lakers to dominate the Pelicans in the second half and cruise to the victory.

“We just tightened up on defense,” Kuzma told Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet.

Kuzma and the Lakers conceded just 37 points and outscored New Orleans 37-55 in the second half.
