Jusuf Nurkic could miss time due to a wrist injury that occurred in the Portland Trail Blazers’ 111-87 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday.

The Bosnian center injured his wrist in the third quarter of the game and a timetable for his return is still unknown. Damian Lillard reacted to the situation with a six-word statement.

Nurkic had several injury setbacks the last two seasons and Damian Lillard knows that. He was limited to eight games last season after going down with a broken tibia and fibula in March 2019.

He returned to the NBA ‘bubble’ and was a crucial part of his team’s run to secure a playoff spot during the season restart. Now, the Blazers need to move on without the starting center.

Before their game against the Pacers, Jusuf Nurkic was averaging 10.3 points on 50.5% field goal shooting, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
