Frank Vogel explains how Lionel Hollins has helped Marc Gasol adapt to the Lakers’ playing style

Frank Vogel opened up about how Lionel Hollins has helped Marc Gasol adapt to the playing style of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Vogel said the presence of Hollins (Lakers assistant coach) is ‘invaluable’ to the team, given his relationship with Gasol.

“The more information you know about a player, the easier it is to integrate them. And that would apply to Lionel’s relationship with Marc, and I think it’s been invaluable in terms of fitting him in early on,” Vogel said about Hollins and Gasol, via Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen and Roll.

Gasol played under Hollins for five years in the Memphis Grizzlies (2008-2013) and the two reunited in the Lakers this season.
