Sports analyst Colin Cowherd provided a different perspective on comparison between LeBron James and Kevin Durant. According to him, unlike KD, LeBron is a leader. The latest example of Durant’s lack of leadership is his choice to go to Brooklyn to team up with Kyrie Irving.
“KD couldn’t make Kyrie work for 3 weeks. LeBron made it work for 3 years,” Cowherd pointed at how James handled the situation of being teammates with Irving compared to that of Durant. On the other hand, LeBron made it work on every team he played, regardless of who his teammates were.
Cowherd went as far as to say that 99% of the league’s superstars are followers. The only exceptions are LeBron James and Steph Curry.
